My Attempt and a Weird Snack

Hey guys!

The other day I decided that I would try to make an Arabian style halter for my new schleich mare.

I had never actually done this before, but I had seen pictures of other people's.
So I got myself a hot chocolate and tucked myself away in my room.

I didn't have any tassels handy and since I didn't know how to make them I just settled for this wool.
So first I measured some ribbon, cut it to length and glued it into an L shape.

After some more gluing I attached the wool to the sides.

My hot chocolate was almost finished by now.
And my desk looked something like this.
Then finally I added some wire to the neck band so it would hold its shape, and made the noseband out of chain.

It's not the greatest but it's not bad for a first attempt.

Now, in other news. LOL!
Last night I felt like something sweet, and my Dad, who has a real sense of humour and tends to joke a lot, said he'd make me something to eat. He said it would be something great and that I'd never tasted anything like it. I thought he was joking and that he was going to make a peanut butter and honey sandwich or something. Boy was I wrong! Instead he made me something he said was a sweet sensation! This!
It's a combo of jam, peanut butter, honey, golden syrup, hot chocolate powder and who knows what else!
Now I know what your thinking, there's no way your going to eat that right? Well I did try it and it actually tasted like peanut butter and honey! I ended up eating it all! I must have been hungry! :0
Thanks for reading guys!

What I Got At Frontline

Hi Everyone!
I know I haven't posted for a while, so sorry about that.
I recently went to Frontline Hobbies and got a few things.

This is Gifted Grace or Grace. I am yet to make her files page.
I love her position, it's very different from the other schleich horses.
She is an Arabian.

This is King Caspian or Caspian. I haven't made his file page yet either.
He is a real beauty, and is also an Arabian.

This is Arabian Knight or Arab. No, haven't made his page yet.
He is a very interesting colour, I think it's either bay or dark chestnut. Anyone know?

The we have Lady Abigail or Abbie. Haven't made her page yet.
If anyone can think of a better showname for her than Lady Abigail, then please let me know.
Just try to keep it so her nickname can be Abbie.

And here we have May Cropper. David's daughter. She's eight years old I think.

Well that's pretty much all at the moment. I'll try to post more often in future.
Bye!

A Bunch of Stuff

Hello everyone!
First of all, sorry that I haven't posted in a while, not much has been happening.
Ok, so, on with the good stuff.
I thought I might post these photos because, well, because I can and I think you all might like them.
So here they are.

The horse is the 2012 Schleich Camargue mare. I called her April Wind or April.
These photos were taken on the Mornington Peninsula during our holiday.

I also wish to announce the opening of a new page. Willow Tree Farm is my model horse and animal farm, the page will contain information about the animals and people involved in the farm.
Well, that's about it for now. Bye!
